Cristy Nielsen
Hello! My name is Cristy Nielsen. My childbirth background extends over six years with experience working at a hospital in the Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and NICU Departments at a major hospital, as well a Volunteer Doula and the Interim Summer Doula Coordinator for a Birth Center in Northern California. I am also the Director of Communications for Central Florida Birth Network. I was trained by DONA in 2002, and believe in helping women and their partners educate themselves about their choices for their birth. No birth is the same and because of this I offer unique customized services for each
individual situation. My birth philosophy is simple, to provide each client family with the support and education they need to have the birth that is right for them. I am currently only taking doula clients for repeat families.
My passion and dream has been fulfilled by running a photography studio and business. My specialty is pregnancy, birth, and newborn photography, and I also provide wedding photography services as well.
